ABOUT US

Established in 2015, Northern Appalachian Socio-Economic Collaboration (NASEC)  is a community organization that holds civic duty and citizenship in high regard. We believe every resident and visitor plays a vital role in the health, diversity, and well-being of our communities and counties. Our goal and mission, since inception, is to bring neighbors together to solve problems and build a brighter future for all.

With a small staff and a core group of volunteers, we are building a number of partnerships with local businesses and organizations from around the area. It is our partnerships that have allowed us to create programs, host events, deploy initiatives and encourage residents to become engaged.

Our Executive Director is Judilynn Zawacki Niedercorn.

YOUR PARTICIPATION COUNTS

Open to everyone,Northern Appalachian Socio-Economic Collaboration (NASEC)  believes in community involvement. That is one thing we learned early on, as the more voices heard, the more questions asked, and the more people become involved the more things get done. Whether planning a community event, an educational series, or our growing initiatives, we have and will always encourage people to join in on the ground floor.
